Pre-registration for the National Do Not Call Program

The Federal Trade Commission is expected to launch a nationwide Do Not Call registry this summer. California is joining the list, and you can register for free at the California State Attorney General Web site. The program, if it succeeds, will begin in October 2003.

If you would like to reduce the amount of advertising you receive, contact the following agencies.

  1. For advertising received by mail

      OR - write to the following credit reporting bureaus. Include your full name, current address, Social Security number and telephone number.
